About Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Behavioral Health Services
Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Behavioral Health Services is a hospital-based program offering treatment for substance abuse, addiction, and a wide range of mental health conditions across all age groups in Park Ridge, Illinois.
The program draws on a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatry, addiction medicine, psychology, social work, counseling and certified addiction counselors.

Adult Day Hospital
The Adult Day Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Program is a cornerstone of Advocate Lutheran General’s behavioral health services.
The program is designed to prevent inpatient hospitalization or serve as a step-down following an inpatient stay, with an average treatment length of two to three weeks.
Programming includes group psychotherapy, psychoeducation, coping skills, medication education, relaxation therapy, expressive therapy and occupational therapy groups.
Individual and family psychotherapy are also available through case management with built-in coordination with outpatient providers and insurance.
