The Blue and Green Lines stop just over the border, and bus service is dense. That means a program on the West Side or downtown is reachable several times a week by train and bus.

This means that many people can get to outpatient treatment without owning a car. Drivers can use the Eisenhower Expressway (Interstate 290) along the south edge, with Cicero Avenue and Cermak Road as the main north-south and east-west routes.
