STR Silver Pines is a residential treatment center in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania. Medical detox is also offered. Transportation Assistance and Same Day Admission
If you’re within two hours of Mahanoy City, Silver Pines can help with transportation and they also will admit clients the same day. The travel and the admission can be completed at the same time.
Gender Based Art Therapy and 24 Hour Kitchen Access
The detox unit has 21 beds. The kitchen there stays open around the clock for self serve meals and homemade comfort food. The center can also support complex needs such as a seizure disorder, an eating disorder or a pregnancy.
A master’s level art therapist at Silver Pines leads the art groups which meet weekly and groups are separated by gender. Process groups for LGBTQIA+ clients are available and clinicians are trained to provide affirming care.
