Because Oaks is not a medical detox or hospital setting, clients needing detoxification are encouraged to complete those services before admission. From there, men can enter a Short Term Intensive program for 42 days or a Long Term Intensive program for 4 monthswhile women receive care through Willow House.

Programming includes one-on-one peer recovery coaching, 12 step workshops and meetings, therapy, life skills training, and recreational activities. Men completing core programs may continue in transitional housing for up to 9 months with vocational assistance, court advocacy, and work transportation.
