About The Turning Point of South Carolina
Located in the growing community of Greenville, South Carolina, is the men’s recovery facility that operates under The Turning Point of South Carolina. Since 2002, they’ve provided support to men of all backgrounds regardless of their financial status.
Turning Point of South Carolina is a private, nonprofit organization that’s committed to helping men move through recovery from a drug or alcohol use disorder. At the heart of their recovery approach is helping to alleviate obstacles that might stand in the way of your progress.
The facility here is spacious, featuring 175 beds for men who are ready to receive services that can help them on their path to healing. As of this writing, they’re undergoing renovations so that the rooms are enhanced to be energy efficient, comfortable, and modern for the residents here. These renovations are not impacting the services being offered.
Their commitment to helping remove obstacles that stand in your way of recovery is observed in the many services they provide here. For example, their recovery program takes a phased and structured approach. The more you progress through your treatment, the more responsibilities you’ll take to help you reach the goals you set for yourself. This will help with your overall personal growth and development.
They also provide vocational rehabilitation assistance that you can tap into to build the skills you need for gainful employment. If you’re already working, you’ll have access to transportation that’ll take you to and from your place of employment. Transportation is also available if you need help getting to 12 Step programs that you are enrolled in through the community.
Despite being a larger facility, there’s still a close knit sense of community here. You’ll be encouraged to build relationships with other residents here so that you have a support system that you can lean on when you need it.
