About Caron Foundation

Caron Foundation is a long standing nonprofit addiction treatment and recovery support provider with a presence in New York, New York offering specialized substance use recovery services for individuals and families.

The New York program focuses on recovery support and case management, family coaching and prevention education rather than full residential care.

Clients value Caron’s compassionate, individualized approach and its nearly 70 years of experience supporting people through every stage of recovery.

What recovery services are offered?

Caron’s New York program provides screenings, stabilization and case management, individual and family recovery coaching, and virtual support groups.

Services are designed to help people transition home after residential treatment, whether they were treated at Caron or elsewhere. The program also delivers prevention education through its Student Assistance Program.

Who can get help here?

Caron serves individuals and families affected by substance use disorder including young adults and women, men and older adults.

Prevention programming specifically supports elementary and high school students, parents, caregivers and professionals who work with youth around drug, alcohol and nicotine concerns.

Where is Caron Foundation located?

Caron’s New York Recovery Center is based in Midtown Manhattan, conveniently located near Madison Avenue and serving New York County and surrounding areas. Virtual support groups also extend access to clients who prefer remote care.

Do you take insurance?

Caron has in network agreements with several national insurance providers for inpatient and outpatient treatment.

New York recovery support services are private pay, collected at admission with financial assistance potentially available based on need.

Therapies

Trauma-informed therapy in New York can help you address what happened and consciously create a healthier response. Trauma-informed therapy sessions generally last 60 to 90 minutes and may include discussing a specific event, talking about emotional triggers, and learning emotional regulation and cognitive restructuring skills.
