Once located in Massena, New York near the St. Lawrence River, the Rose Hill Adolescent Addiction Treatment Program was a rehab that offered scenic views and serene areas which created a space for meditation and time for reflection during your care. This program was focused exclusively on youth from ages 12 to 20. Unfortunately, it is now closed.

The program was inclusive and welcomed people from all cultures and backgrounds including the LGBTQ+ community. They offered additional support for those who had experiences of sexual abuse or domestice abuse. The program also provided programs for those referred from the court system.

Therapeutic Approaches Focused on Teens

I think the best thing about this center was that its programs were created specifically to help adolescents, because teenagers and adults can have very different experiences and needs when it comes to addiction. Along with traditional therapies, they had anger management and they addressed other mental health concerns such as ADHD and depression in addition to substance abuse. Long term and short term residential options for teens 12-20 were available as well as family therapy.

Educational and Career Assistance in Aftercare Planning

The center recognized the importance of helping you maintain your sobriety and successful integration into society after you have reached your goals. To this end, they offered residents aftercare support in addition to educational and vocational options like GED studies during your treatment.

Payment and Insurance Accepted

The Rose Hill Adolescent Addiction Treatment Program accepted many private insurance plans, Medicaid and military insurance. They had sliding scale fees based on income and other factors.
