Withdrawal Management in Buffalo

I like that they provide medically supervised withdrawal management for substances such as alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines. You’ll receive 24/7 medical and nursing care to safely navigate your withdrawal symptoms. They will integrate individual and group therapies to help you understand your symptoms and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
Their stabilization program is for anyone requiring residential care but is not experiencing acute withdrawal. Services include psychiatric and addiction medicine assessments.
You’ll also attend individualized counseling, specialized group therapy and family counseling. You may also attend education groups, wellness classes and opiate overdose prevention training.

The Importance of Family and Planning

They place a huge emphasis on aftercare planning. Their staff will be able to assist in linking you with community resources and support systems to maintain recovery post treatment.
I like that they understand that addiction affects the entire family. They offer family counseling and education groups to repair and strengthen relationships.

Cultural and Recreational Activities

Lafayette Square is a historic public park in the downtown area. You’ll experience the view of Buffalo City Hall and the Soldiers and Sailors Monument.
The Buffalo Maritime Center is dedicated to preserving the region’s maritime heritage. You’ll be able to visit their exhibits on historic ships and their hands-on boating building programs.
