About Larimer County Community Corrections

Larimer County Community Corrections in Fort Collins, Colorado is a county-operated community corrections program serving adult felony offenders who are directly sentenced or transitioning from prison before parole release.

The program combines residential and non-residential supervision with substance use treatment, dual-diagnosis programming, evaluations, drug and alcohol testing and reentry support.

Their integrated model is built to reduce both substance use and criminal behavior while helping clients rebuild stability, employment and community ties.

Justice-Involved Substance Use Treatment

The 326-bed residential facility supports stays of about eight to nine months, where clients address treatment goals alongside employment, restitution and community service requirements.

The center offers a 21-day intensive residential track with six months of aftercare for men and women facing imminent incarceration due to drug or alcohol dependence.

Treatment is delivered through gender-specific programming, including the 90-day MIRT track for men focused on trauma and criminogenic risk reduction.

The 90-day WINR program is available for women, which is relationally based and trauma-informed.

A dedicated Residential Dual Diagnosis Treatment track serves clients with co-occurring serious substance use and chronic mental illness.

Reentry Support and Community Supervision

Non-residential services include crisis intervention, medication monitoring, home visits and individual meetings.

The Day Reporting Center provides substance testing, screening, and extended evening and weekend hours.

Comprehensive evaluations cover legal, mental health, substance use and social history to guide appropriate placement and care planning.
