CLARE|MATRIX Admissions and Prevention in Santa Monica, California is a nonprofit provider offering outpatient addiction treatment on the Westside of Los Angeles. 

Located at 1002 Pico Blvd., this site serves as the Santa Monica outpatient hub within a broader CLARE|MATRIX continuum that also includes detox, residential and prevention services.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment at CLARE|MATRIX Santa Monica

The Santa Monica outpatient center provides Intensive Outpatient (IOP), standard Outpatient (OP), recovery support and prevention and initial engagement services for adults ages 18 years and older.

This includes men, women, and LGBTQ clients. Specialty tracks support teens and young adults, pregnant and parenting women, Veterans, people involved with the criminal justice system and individuals with co occurring mental health conditions.

Programming is anchored in the internationally recognized Matrix Model, integrating relapse prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, contingency management, family therapy, psychoeducation and 12 Step support. 

Clients also have access to medication assisted treatment, individual and group therapy, case management, telehealth options and onsite medical care.

Additional Services and Payment Options

Beyond outpatient care, CLARE|MATRIX offers prevention programming for adolescents, recovery support services, telehealth and harm reduction access including free Narcan kits and fentanyl test strips through an onsite vending machine.

The facility accepts Medi Cal, most private insurance plans and self pay. CLARE|MATRIX states it turns no one away due to inability to pay and offers grant funded programming for uninsured or under insured clients.
