The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is located in San Diego, California. You’ll be served through a compassionate residential treatment program. This program will help you rebuild your skills, allowing you the opportunity to build the healthy habits you need for sustainable sobriety. This program is offered free of cost.

This work therapy treatment allows you to work in one of their affiliate thrift stores. You’ll have the opportunity to rebuild your life by learning critical, relevant skills that will help you succeed. Most importantly, you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment and pride as you get to serve your community.

Complimenting this work therapy program is intentional counseling. You’ll work one-on-one with experienced counselors who will help you understand the complexities of drug addiction. You’ll learn to identify different triggers that have contributed to your drug use. You’ll also learn strategies and techniques that will help you manage stressful emotions and thoughts of relapse that arise during your recovery.

You’ll also be supported by faith-based fellowship with other recovering individuals. You’ll gain a greater sense of belonging and purpose as you focus on the spiritual component of recovery. This support will encourage you to tap into your faith during moments of struggle.

The Salvation Army works closely with the community. As such, you’ll be connected to local 12-step style programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA). You can also be connected to other resources in your community that can help serve your unique needs.
