Rancho Coast Recovery is a men’s sober living program in San Diego’s South Park neighborhood dedicated to providing a safe, clean and comfortable recovery residence.

The program supports adult men who are serious about sobriety and looking for structure and peer accountability as they focus on lasting recovery.

With an intimate, small-house format Rancho Coast Recovery offers a calmer environment where residents can remove themselves from unhealthy surroundings and truly heal.

Structured Men’s Sober Living

The center prioritizes sober living for men with two properties known as “The Porch” and “The Porch on Fern Street.”

Residents are expected to maintain abstinence and stay actively engaged in their recovery.

The recovery structure includes required daily AA meeting attendance, regular house meetings and a weekly Big Book study, along with possible random drug testing.

This accountability-driven approach helps men build healthy routines and lean on peer support throughout their recovery journey.

Residents have shared that moving into the home gave them the space to step away from old environments and prioritize healing.

An Intimate, Home-Like Setting

The Porch is a comfortable home housing only six residents with single or double rooms and thoughtful amenities including laundry, wireless internet, an exercise area and a large backyard with a patio and barbecue.

Its walkable location offers easy access to AA meetings, Balboa Park, recreation and public transit, blending recovery accountability with everyday livability.

Insurance Coverage

Self-pay options
Paying the full cost of rehab in California yourself is called self-pay. Some people write a check, some electronically send payment to the treatment center, and others get a medical loan. There may be different fee structures depending on the level of care.
