In the lovely Salinas, California, Sun Street Centers’ Men’s Residential Program is a state licensed recovery facility that offers men a safe place to start a new life without drugs. Located just inland from the Monterey Bay coastline, this center is an accessible recovery option, as it accepts Medi-Cal and multiple private insurance plans.

A Student Based Approach to Sobriety

This center utilizes the social model of recovery. They believe in treating individuals not as patients, but rather as students who actively engage in the recovery process. Clients walk through a curriculum and learn why you drink or use drugs, help you and the guys identify personal triggers, and equip you with skills to cope and also rebuild a meaningful life.
