Desert View Recovery is now closed. This facility was part of the Delphi Behavioral Health Group that was located near Palm Springs in Rancho Mirage, California. This outpatient addiction treatment facility was accredited by The Joint Commission and was dedicated to helping adults overcome substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. They did accept private insurance.

Flexible Outpatient Services in Rancho Mirage

Their flexible outpatient program allowed you to live at home while attending treatment. The program focused on individual and group counseling, relapse prevention and life skills. They used treatment modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to help individuals address the root cause of their addiction.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) provided a structured approach for those needing more support. The program included multiple weekly sessions of group therapy, individual counseling and skills building classes. Your time in therapy emphasized emotional regulation and behavior modification. This program was ideal for transitioning from higher care levels or maintaining recovery with accountability.

More Intensive Care Through PHP

Their partial hospitalization program (PHP) provided intensive daytime treatment with meetings five days a week. Individuals engaged in therapy, psychoeducational classes and relapse prevention planning. This program helped individuals stabilize physically and mentally before stepping down to outpatient care.

Desert View also offered medical detox for safe withdrawal management and dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring disorders like depression or anxiety. They also integrated 12 step facilitation and family counseling and vocational training.
