Al Anon and Alateen Peer Support

The service center supports adults, teens, and families affected by someone else’s drinking through the time tested Al Anon Family Groups approach.

Resources include English and Spanish physical meetings, electronic meetings and dedicated Alateen meetings for teenagers navigating the impact of a loved one’s alcohol use.

Participants engage with the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Service.

Newcomer literature and quick link resources help individuals and families take the first steps toward recovery.

The center supports newcomers, distributes fellowship literature and connects visitors with regional Al Anon Family Group activities.

Al Anon does not charge for participation and meetings are self supporting through member contributions.

Donations to the regional service body are welcomed to help sustain outreach and literature efforts.

Al-Anon Family Support
Al-Anon Family Groups offers peer-led meetings in Colton for relatives and friends of people with alcoholism, using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions to share experience, strength, and hope in a family-focused recovery model.
Alateen
Alateen, offered through the Inland Empire Al-Anon Service Center, provides peer support meetings designed specifically for young people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking, distinct from general Al-Anon adult meetings.
Literature Distribution Center
The Inland Empire Al-Anon Service Center in Colton maintains an on-site Literature Distribution Center offering Al-Anon and Alateen Conference Approved Literature and other recovery materials to members and local groups.
