About Oasis Sober Living

Oasis Sober Living is a family owned Victorian home in Anaheim, California that offers compassionate care for adults seeking recovery from substance use disorders. This sober living home was established in 1988 by Jim and Kathy Antonowitsch. This century old mansion is near Disneyland and provides a home like environment that supports long term sobriety. You will pay rent monthly and a deposit is required.

Long Term Stay

This sober living facility and program provides transitional housing for men and women who are either in post-treatment or in early recovery. The length of stay can range from 30 days or two years, depending on what your personal needs are.

Your attendance will be required at the center’s fireside meeting. This is a 12 step recovery group that has been running for more than 20 years. The program emphasizes spiritual development, life skills and community to help you rebuild your life with dignity. I like that alumni often return to inspire the newcomers.

What’s Included and Expected

Utilities like water, gas and trash will be included in your monthly rent. You will be responsible for additional charges for cable and phone installation. They have private and shared bedrooms and you will have access to the laundry, kitchen and common living areas.

You will need to follow some basic rules. Your personal living area must be kept in a neat and orderly manner. You will be required to maintain your sobriety and make no threats or perform acts of violence, both physical and verbal. If you are found to be non-compliant, you will be evicted from the property immediately.
