About Lifeline Connections Crisis Wellness Center

The Crisis Wellness Center of Lifeline Connections provides short term crisis stabilization in Vancouver, Washington for adults who are experiencing an acute behavioral health crisis including an addiction crisis. A structured environment will be provided for individuals who are in need of urgent care. You will receive a high standard level of care as the center is CARF accredited.

Crisis Support When You Need It

I do like that their admissions department is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Their crisis stabilization program can be an alternative to being hospitalized or it can reduce the amount of time you spend in the hospital.

These services are patient focused and emphasize your specific strengths. I like that you will play an active role in the treatment planning. Your treatment plan will promote empowerment and resiliency for future crises.

Involuntary Hold When Needed

What stood out to me is their ITA inpatient program. It is a 16 bed program that provides behavioral health services to individuals who are detained. Individuals in this program have been placed on either a substance use disorder or a mental health involuntary hold.

The program is for those who are at a high risk of harming themselves or others. The judge and treatment team will decide the length of time you are detained. They do discuss this daily.

Entertainment and Activities in the Area

Esther Short Park is the oldest park in the state of Washington. During summertime, the park hosts farmers markers and outdoor concerts. The park has a playground, fountain system and rose garden. The historic Slocum House is also on property.
