About New Day Recovery Youngstown

New Day Recovery in Youngstown, Ohio, is a women’s residential addiction recovery center fully staffed by women. They offer programs that range from 14-45 days to help clients jump start their new recovery lifestyle. New Day Recovery uses a holistic approach that blends group and individual therapy that is trauma informed and centers you as a person. I like that they’ll work with you to give you the tools you need to build a new sober life that is more than just abstaining.

Residents will benefit from peer support from other women who are on a similar journey. You’ll also create a relapse prevention plan and have at least seven hours of daily treatment provided by clinical counseling staff. There’ll be recreation and breaks throughout the day so that you can unwind, rest or socialize.

To set you up for success, you’ll learn life skills like cooking, cleaning, finding a job, interview skills, managing your finances and taking care of your mental health. Staff will arrange off-site activities like movies and picnics to help you get a sense of how to have sober fun.

After you complete treatment, you and your counselor will discuss outpatient therapy to help you continue to make progress and work through obstacles that may come up once you’re back at home.

New day recovery is accredited by CARF. They work with all major insurance providers and can help you navigate understanding your coverage. They have other centers for men and for outpatient care.
