The McIntyre Center provides substance use treatment for adults and adolescents in Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties from its Parma Heights office.

The center offers intensive and non-intensive outpatient programming, opiate and heroin treatment, assessments and DOT SAP services.

The McIntyre Center emphasizes personalized, dignified care that treats the whole person rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment

McIntyre Center offers outpatient substance use treatment, with structured tracks including a 6-week non-intensive program, an 8-week intensive program, opiate and heroin-specific intensive treatment and aftercare services.

The center’s licensed, credentialed clinicians keep groups small and maintain continuity of care so the staff you meet at intake stays involved throughout your treatment.

Sessions blend approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and 12-step facilitation with counseling around triggers, denial, grief, relapse prevention, and behavior change.

Medication assisted treatment options including methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone may be available, and telehealth services help expand access for clients balancing work and family.

Adolescent, Family, and Workplace Services

Beyond adult treatment, McIntyre Center provides dedicated adolescent outpatient programming with intensive and non-intensive tracks, family counseling, diagnostic assessments and education programs.

The center also supports employers and DOT/CDL clients through Substance Abuse Professional evaluations, drug-free workplace training and court-related diversion and education services.

The McIntyre Center also has driver intervention programming held off-site.
