About House of Hope Outpatient
House of Hope Outpatient is a CARF accredited outpatient addiction and mental health program in Columbus, Ohio serving adults with substance use disorders, mental health concerns and co-occurring conditions.
The program offers regular outpatient care and intensive outpatient treatment, individual and group counseling, case management and structured early intervention services.
As Columbus’s longest standing substance use disorder provider with roots dating back to 1959, House of Hope delivers person centered care designed to meet clients wherever they are in their recovery journey.
Outpatient Addiction Treatment
House of Hope’s outpatient program combines clinical counseling with practical recovery supports for adult men and women.
Treatment plans are individualized and may include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention, 12 step facilitation and contingency management.
Sessions focus on building coping skills, addressing underlying mental health concerns and creating sustainable recovery pathways.
Comprehensive assessments and mental health screening, urine and breathalyzer testing, naloxone education, peer support and telehealth therapy round out the clinical offerings.
Whole Person Recovery Support
Foundations of Hope is a one on one educational track for individuals who meet some criteria for substance use disorder and would benefit from early intervention.
The curriculum covers addiction neuroscience, risk factors and treatment pathways. Clients also benefit from case management that connects them with housing, employment, transportation and community resources.
Getting Started
Outpatient services are provided in person at 1034 Harrisburg Pike in Columbus, with telehealth options available and hours Monday through Friday. The program is part of a broader continuum that includes stabilization, residential treatment and recovery housing.
House of Hope accepts Medicaid and self pay, sliding fee scale and payment assistance and no referral is required to begin.
