About Signature Health ORCA House

ORCA House, a CARF accredited residential treatment facility operated by Signature Health, provides care for adults age 18 and older living with serious mental illness or dual diagnosis in Cleveland, Ohio.

The program serves both step down patients discharged from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization and step up patients who need monitored residential treatment, integrating mental health and substance use support.

With longstanding roots in Cleveland as one of the oldest African American founded substance use disorder centers in the country, ORCA House offers a warm and structured, home like environment built for stabilization, growth and transition back into the community.

Residential Treatment for Dual Diagnosis

ORCA House specializes in residential care for adults managing serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use needs.

Housed in a newly renovated 24,000 square foot facility with staff on site 24/7 and three daily meals, the program blends clinical structure with a supportive, caring atmosphere.

Residents receive behavioral health assessments and psychiatry, nursing and case management, peer support and counseling. This integrated approach addresses both mental health and addiction concerns together, helping residents stabilize and build the skills needed for lasting recovery.

A Legacy of Recovery Care

With origins dating back to 1942, ORCA House carries a meaningful history as an African American founded recovery center. Signature Health continues that legacy with an integrated care model and referrals for both mental health and substance use disorder residential treatment.

An Accessible Treatment Option

ORCA House provides in person residential treatment in Cleveland, with transportation services available to qualifying patients and locations near main bus routes.

The program primarily serves individuals with Medicaid or those who qualify for its Sliding Fee Scale program based on household income.
