About Volunteers of America Residential Reentry

Volunteers of America Residential Reentry is a CARF accredited residential reentry program in Cincinnati, Ohio serving adults involved in the criminal justice system. The program offers substance abuse counseling and integrated behavioral health support alongside practical reintegration services for people returning to the community after incarceration.

As part of Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana which is a longstanding faith based nonprofit the program is built on the belief that recovery and a fresh start go hand in hand.

Substance Abuse Counseling for Successful Reentry

This program provides substance use counseling within an evidence-based reentry model designed for adults leaving incarceration. Using customized program planning and routine progress assessment the team supports both recovery and long-term reintegration.

The Cincinnati location holds a CARF integrated substance use disorder and mental health designation for adults with co-occurring needs. Clients take part in counseling that addresses substance use while building the foundation for lasting change. When more robust treatment is needed the program connects clients to community resources for continued care.

Practical Support for Reintegration
