About NuWay Counseling Center Outpatient
NuWay Counseling Center Outpatient is a nonprofit organization that caters to the diverse needs of residents in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This clinic provides intensive outpatient care to adults and members of the GLBTQIA+ community in the Twin Cities area. If you’re struggling with a dual diagnosis, you’ll find supportive, evidence based treatment here.
This clinic has a very bright, welcoming, and inviting feel to it. You’ll feel the charm of the historic building, providing you with a tranquil setting to receive support for your co-occurring conditions. There are several common areas where you can work with your care team or mingle with peers. There’s also a charming outdoor lawn area and a main hall for lectures and group meetings.
There are different approaches to care here to meet your recovery needs. For example, there are trauma focused, gender sensitive care and evidence based treatment modalities like medication assisted treatment (MAT). They also follow the VA and BRITE curriculums, a faith based approach to recovery. With these various approaches, you’ll get connected to the right program that will support your journey to sobriety.
You’ll be encouraged to navigate your recovery with the support of peers as demonstrated by their 12 Step program. They also have individualized treatment modalities to target your unique needs such as struggles with depression or PTSD.
This nonprofit will also help you get connected to recovery housing through their partnerships within the community. This will allow you to have a safe place to move through your outpatient care.
