About Metro Hope Ministries

Metro Hope Ministries is a long term residential recovery ministry in Minneapolis providing Christ centered addiction treatment for men, women and mothers with children. Programs range from 5 to 12 months and serve individuals facing homelessness, unemployment, probation or parole, child protection involvement, domestic abuse or trafficking. Metro Hope offers faith based healing rooted in hope and wholeness for the entire family, and residents are not required to be Christian to enter or graduate.

Recovery for Mothers and Children in Minneapolis

Metro Hope is the only Christ-centered addiction recovery program in the Twin Cities, allowing mothers to live full-time onsite with children ages 0 to 10. The Mothers with Children Program runs 7 to 12 months and includes private family rooms, onsite childcare and early education and case coordination focused on reunification support for women involved with Child Protection Services or the legal system. Capacity accommodates up to 20 women and 24 children.

Treatment addresses the whole person through individual, group and family counseling, relapse prevention, 12-step facilitation, life skills training and daily devotions and chapel. Sessions focus on rebuilding stability, parenting skills and pathways to employment or education while keeping families together.

Structured Men’s Recovery Program

Metro Hope’s Men’s Program serves up to 53 men through a 5 to 7-month phased model, including intake, assessment, contract setting, healing, equipping and finishing stages. Men participate in daily devotions, classes, work study, chapel, meetings with a Christian psychologist and GED or employment readiness training, with aftercare support continuing through monthly alumni meetings.
