Family Outreach Center is a behavioral health provider offering outpatient mental health and substance use services to children, adolescents, adults and families in Grand Rapids and Kent County, Michigan.

The organization treats substance use disorders, trauma and co-occurring conditions like depression and anxiety using approaches such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing and EMDR.

Substance Use Recovery and Intensive Outpatient Care

Family Outreach Center brings trauma capacity to its work with EMDR-trained therapists and clinicians trained in Trauma-Focused CBT.

The team supports trauma survivors alongside justice-involved clients through jail-based screening, crisis intervention, diversion and post-release recovery support, connecting behavioral health with reentry.
