About Tri County Human Services Inc Outpatient Services

The Tri County Human Services’ Outpatient Clinic is located in Winter Haven, Florida, a beautiful area known for its chain of lakes and diverse water activities. Legoland is also not far away. They offer many different types of outpatient care to help you get on your way to recovery. They also offer therapy through specially designed programs for DUI/DWI. Telehealth is also available.

They work with both adolescents and adults, including pregnant women, individuals with co-occurring mental and substance use disorders, and patients who’ve experienced trauma, sexual abuse, or domestic violence. Sign language is freely given for many care options. I really like that they encourage and promote parental participation for minors seeking treatment.

Individualized Counseling Services

One of the best aspects of this clinic is their behavioral health services are an integrated part of the intensive outpatient programs. This includes case management, individual and group counseling, education workshops and family programs. To help you reach your goals, the center has a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid or alcoholism.

Specially Designed Community Programs

To assist all members of the community, this center offers many different comprehensive services including free in-home parenting and family counseling for those at risk of substance abuse. There’s also substance use counseling in jails and in schools so that vulnerable inmates and children can learn healthier ways of coping.

Payment and Insurance Accepted

In addition to private health insurance, this center accepts Medicaid, SAMHSA funding/block grants, and a sliding fee scale based on income.

    Outpatient Rehab

If you want to attend school or work during rehab, consider outpatient treatment in Florida. You’ll live independently except when you’re attending rehab. Outpatient treatment sessions generally last 60 to 90 minutes and may include discussing a specific issue, sharing wins and challenges, education about specific topics, or developing life skills.
