Located in beautiful, suburban Port St. Lucie, Florida, is the drug and alcohol recovery facility, Amethyst Recovery Center. It’s not too far from the St. Lucie River. Recovery looks different for everybody here and recovery plans are individualized to your needs. The clinical approach includes cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapies (DBT) along with other evidence based treatment modalities.

These modalities are used alongside the 12 Step model. You’ll have the freedom and communal support to navigate your challenges in a safe and supportive environment. Peer support services will also encourage you to build meaningful connections.

There are also a variety of holistic treatment modalities too. You’ll be encouraged to explore the ones you find most interesting and helpful to your recovery. Among these modalities are expressive arts therapy, massage therapy, yoga, and nutritional assistance so you’ll feel fit and have more self-confidence.

As you move through your treatment plan, you’ll be able to relax in a fully furnished, hotel like facility. There’s a coastal color theme throughout the building, recreational rooms for ping pong and other arcade games, outdoor facilities, and comfortable shared bedrooms. There’s a popcorn popper, snacks in their fully stocked kitchen, and a small outdoor theater.

In this inviting atmosphere, you’ll be able to focus on your recovery, connect with peers, and tap into a network of support that will encourage you to lead a life of health and wellness.
