About Hogar Crea International of Florida Inc

Hogar Crea International of Florida Inc is a nonprofit residential addiction treatment provider in Orlando, serving youth, adults and Spanish speaking individuals seeking recovery from alcohol and substance use.

The program offers a 12 month therapeutic community model grounded in a Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual approach, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy and peer support.

Rooted in a mission of prevention, re-education and character growth, the center provides a home like environment where residents rebuild their lives alongside a supportive community.

Long Term Residential Recovery

Built on Erik Erikson’s psychosocial development framework, the program emphasizes re-education for adults and educational growth for adolescents.

Treatment unfolds across four structured phases: Induction, Introspection and Identification, Intensive Growth and Follow Up.

Residents engage in daily routines, group and individual peer support, and character building activities spanning occupational, educational and recreational, spiritual and family domains.

Former residents have described it as “one of the best and last programs” they experienced, with one parent crediting it with saving their son’s life.

Therapeutic Community

Beyond clinical treatment, Hogar Crea distinguishes itself through its therapeutic community atmosphere focused on emotional and physical, moral and spiritual development.

Residents live together in a home like setting, participating in shared duties and structured activities that reinforce accountability, purpose and connection throughout the recovery journey.
