About CORE Comprehensive Offender Rehabilitation and Education Okeechobee

CORE Comprehensive Offender Rehabilitation and Education (CORE Program) is a nonprofit substance use intervention provider in Okeechobee, Florida.

This program serves adults with DUI and court-ordered rehabilitation needs. The program has offered DUI education, clinical evaluations, probation supervision and monitoring services across the 19th Judicial Circuit since 1973. They offer in-person and online services to make services accessible to clients in Okeechobee, St. Lucie, Martin, and Indian River counties.

DUI Education in Okeechobee

CORE Program offers Level I and Level II DUI education courses, clinical substance use evaluations, misdemeanor probation supervision and traffic safety education.

Monitoring programs such as SCRAM alcohol detection and Victim Impact Panels are also available. Referrals to treatment may follow evaluation results when additional support is needed.

The program serves adults who are court-ordered for DUI offenses, traffic violations or misdemeanor probation in the four-county region. Individuals may also enroll voluntarily or as required by licensing and regulatory authorities.

Therapies

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy in Florida helps clients overcome substance use by providing individualized, confidential support. Individual therapy is a normal part of evidence-based treatment programs, and may be a part of inpatient treatment, outpatient care, or both. Topics include processing past events that may have contributed to substance use, learning new life skills, and relapse prevention strategies.
