About Serenity House West

Serenity House West was an addiction treatment center that was also known as Serenity House of Volusia. It was based in DeLand in Florida. However, they’ve since closed.

When they were open, they offered long-term residential care and sober living for adult men, including those struggling with chronic addiction. They welcomed criminal justice clients and provided dedicated transitional housing for homeless male veterans.

Long Term Care

Serenity House West provided residential inpatient programs for 60 to 120 days or longer. Their services included therapies for substance abuse and mental health and holistic options. The facility also offered onsite sober living and transitional housing to support the journey to independent living.

The residential environment was designed to provide structure and accountability. Clients partook in therapies and activities within a supportive peer community that integrated clinical care with holistic wellness principles. Their comprehensive programs addressed co-occurring mental health disorders.

Admissions

Serenity House West accepted Medicaid, military insurance (TRICARE) and private self-payment. They also offered sliding fee scales and financial assistance for those who qualify.

Although they’ve since shut down, there are other centers nearby ready to assist.
