About Sacred Heart Port Huron Outpatient And Recovery Housing

Sacred Heart Port Huron Outpatient & Recovery Housing is a CARF accredited Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center location offering addiction treatment and recovery housing in Port Huron, Michigan.

The program serves adults with integrated substance use disorder and mental health needs through outpatient care and intensive outpatient treatment, medication assisted treatment and recovery support.

Sacred Heart is built around a full continuum of care, meeting people wherever they are on the path from early recovery to lasting stability.

Integrated Addiction Care and Nursing

Sacred Heart provides traditional outpatient and CARF accredited intensive outpatient treatment for adults facing substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.

Office based opioid treatment is available using buprenorphine and naltrexone, pairing medication with counseling rather than relying on either alone.

Sessions blend group therapy, didactic and wellness groups, individual counseling and family counseling, alongside evidence based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention planning.

Substance Use Disorder Health Home services add care coordination, nursing and peer recovery coaches to address the root causes of addiction.

Women’s Specialty Services

Safe, secure recovery housing is offered alongside outpatient care, supporting people transitioning back into the community and welcoming those engaged in medication assisted treatment.

Women’s specialty programming serves women, pregnant people and primary caregivers, with admission priority for women and children.

Next Steps

Sacred Heart provides in person services at its 8th Street location in Port Huron and statewide telehealth, including an OnDemand virtual intake option for new outpatient clients.

The center holds three year CARF accreditation for its outpatient, intensive outpatient and case management services.

The program accepts Medicaid and Medicare, TRICARE and private insurance, self payment and government funding, with a sliding fee scale reported.
