Shoreline Treatment Center is an adolescent substance use disorder treatment center in Taft, Texas serving teens ages 13 to 17 since 1989. The program offers residential level care with gender separated programs for boys and girls as well as dual diagnosis psychiatric evaluations and a specialized Pregnant Teen Program with around-the-clock nursing support.

Residential Treatment for Teens using the Encouragement Model

The residential environment provides structure throughout the day integrating clinical care with on-campus schooling through the TEA accredited Shoreline Academy. Counseling sessions and clinical focus groups are facilitated by credentialed counselors with family counseling included as a core component of the recovery process.

Dual diagnosis capabilities allow the clinical team to address substance use alongside mental health concerns and behavioral support is guided by the facility’s Encouragement Model which emphasizes personal responsibility and skill building.
