About Alpha Home Camden Residence

Alpha Home Camden Residence is a women’s residential addiction treatment facility in San Antonio, Texas, serving adult women ages 18 and older.

The program treats alcohol use, opioid addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns through a blend of 12-step recovery, cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy and trauma-informed care like Seeking Safety.

Women’s Residential Recovery in San Antonio

Camden Residence is Alpha Home’s dedicated women-only residential program, housing up to 16 women in a homelike setting with shared bedrooms, kitchens, family rooms and outdoor patios.

With roots dating back to 1966, Alpha Home brings decades of experience supporting women through structured residential stays averaging about 70 days.

Treatment begins with assessment and an individualized plan, followed by individual and group counseling, relapse prevention, parenting and family groups, mindfulness and anger management.

The spiritually based, 12-step approach is paired with evidence based therapies to help residents address the roots of addiction while building practical recovery skills.

Wraparound Wellness and Continuing Care

Alpha Home extends support through the Usatine Wellness Center, which provides intake screening, psychiatric support, primary care, women’s exams and physical therapy for residential clients.

Recovery coaching and ongoing recovery support help women maintain stability long after they complete residential care.

Admissions and Access

Camden Residence is located on Camden Street in San Antonio and serves women from across the surrounding communities through in-person residential care, with screening required before admission.

Alpha Home accepts Medicaid and select private insurance plans, and treatment is available regardless of ability to pay.
