Seay Behavioral Health is a 48-bed hospital within the Texas Health system providing acute psychiatric and substance use disorder care in Plano, Texas.

The facility offers medically monitored detox, inpatient stabilization, adult substance use programming and adolescent mental-health services for both adults and adolescents.

With individualized treatment planning at every level of care the center helps patients move safely from crisis toward lasting recovery.

Medically Monitored Detox

Seay Behavioral Health Plano specializes in detox for drug, alcohol and opioid addiction, monitored around the clock by nurses and physicians experienced in addiction care.

Each detox plan is individualized and adults can step down into a structured Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for continued support without overnight stays.

PHP sessions incorporate cognitive behavioral skills to strengthen daily living and self-management, while co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns are addressed through dual diagnosis care.

This continuum from detox to inpatient stabilization to PHP helps patients build a stable foundation for recovery.

Adolescent Mental-Health Programming

Beyond adult addiction services the facility offers an Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program.

These programs combine group and individual sessions with family involvement through individual and multi-family programming, supporting young people and their loved ones together.
