As one of Texas’s biggest multi-site addiction treatment centers for women, Santa Maria Hostel in Houston, Texas, provides comprehensive programming and support, including prevention and intervention services. Support is also available to pregnant, post-partum and parenting women. The team here is all about meeting you where you’re at in your treatment journey and providing you with the help you need, as and when you need it. This particular facility is the Women’s Recovery Residence, based in Houston.

Supportive Sober Housing for Women

Providing an intimate and supportive space for women and their children in recovery, this facility has capacity for up to 10 residents. The residence is a safe haven, providing space for support meetings, alumni groups, recovery coaching as well as sober recreational activities.

Drug Detox and Residential Support for Women

The facility can also refer residents to other nearby locations also operating under Santa Maria Hostel. This includes a dedicated detox center, and the only one of its kind in the region providing detox services to uninsured women and children. Compassionate medical staff monitor the withdrawal process and supervise to ensure safety and stability. The program is staffed 24/7, and women are often encouraged to progress to residential treatment following the detox stage.

Various residential care locations are available for you to be referred to, with multiple support services available. Individual, group and family counseling are typically included, along with case management, housing support and childcare services. Educational services include life skills and relapse prevention sessions, fitness and nutrition classes, parenting classes and coaching as well as trauma-focused sessions and anger-management support.
