About MHMRTC CARE House

MHMRTC CARE House is an adolescent crisis respite program in Fort Worth, Texas operated within the public behavioral health system of My Health My Resources of Tarrant County.

It serves youth ages 13 to 17 in acute crisis offering short-term residential care alongside dual diagnosis and co-occurring mental health and substance use support.

The program is built around voluntary, stabilizing care that meets young people and their families during some of their most difficult moments.

Adolescent Crisis Residential Care

CARE House functions as a crisis residential unit for medically stable teens who are voluntarily seeking inpatient support with their legally authorized representative involved.

This 16-bed program provides short-term residential treatment for up to 30 days focused specifically on adolescents navigating acute crisis.

Care centers on stabilization and healing through a mix of therapeutic approaches, including individual, group, family and trauma therapy.

Sessions are designed to address underlying mental health and co-occurring concerns while supporting each young person’s safe return to daily life.

Dual Diagnosis and Family-Centered Support

For teens facing both mental health and substance use challenges CARE House offers dual diagnosis support integrated into its crisis care model.

Family therapy is a key part of the process helping caregivers stay engaged and prepared to support recovery beyond the program.
