Residential Transitional Living

The residential program taught clients how to achieve sobriety and how to be independent financially and emotionally. Much like transitional housing, the program had four levels that residents completed. The house hosted on site 12 step meetings and required residents to work with a sponsor.

In addition to 12 step programming, the house helped residents find a job and offered help with legal issues, financial guidance, budgeting guidance and education on public speaking. House events, community service and household mentorship provided socialization opportunities. They offered a faith based track that integrated Bible studies for interested residents.

Outpatient Substance Use Treatment

Treatment options included intensive outpatient programs, supportive outpatient programs and individual counseling. Therapy used the disease model of addiction and the 12 step methods. Clients were taught how to cope with anger, anxiety, depression, trauma and shame.

Court Services Program

A court services program promised clients to “be with them in the trenches” during legal processes. They were a liaison for clients in matters involving the police department, judges, attorneys, child protective services, courts and probation.
