About Southwest Connecticut Mental Health Systems

Southwest Connecticut Mental Health System (SWCMHS) is a state-operated Local Mental Health Authority serving adults age 18 and older across Fairfield County.

It provides integrated treatment for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use disorders using modalities like CBT, DBT, family, group and trauma therapy.

SWCMHS is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate and culturally competent care to adults in need, including those who are indigent or publicly insured.

Dual Diagnosis and Substance Use Treatment
