About Innerspace Counseling

Innerspace Counseling is an Old Bridge, New Jersey behavioral health practice offering intensive mental health treatment with co-occurring substance use support for children, teens and adults.

The team provides IOP and PHP programming using DBT-informed therapy, CBT, ERP, Brainspotting, and trauma-informed care to address anxiety, OCD, mood concerns and related substance use.

Innerspace believes meaningful healing happens through individualized, interdisciplinary care delivered in a bright, welcoming space where clients feel safe to do the work.

Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization

Innerspace specializes in structured IOP and PHP programs for clients who need more support than weekly therapy can offer.

Each client begins with an individualized assessment and psychiatric evaluation, followed by a treatment plan that blends individual counseling, group therapy, medication management and family sessions.

Enrollment is often available within 48 hours, making the practice a strong option for step-down care from inpatient settings or after a mental health crisis.

Sessions emphasize DBT skills like emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness, alongside ERP for OCD and nervous system regulation strategies.

Clients consistently describe the program as life changing, citing compassionate staff, supportive peers and a nonjudgmental atmosphere.

Tracks for OCD, Perinatal Wellness and LGBTQIA+ Clients

Beyond general mental health care, Innerspace offers dedicated tracks for OCD and anxiety, a Perinatal Wellness Program for pregnancy and postpartum concerns, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care delivered by specially trained clinicians.

The team also coordinates closely with schools, hospitals and outside outpatient providers to support continuity of care.
