About Wayside Youth and Family Support Network Frederick Abbott Way
Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is a Massachusetts campus in Framingham offering behavioral health, residential and educational services for youth and families.
The campus provides acute stabilization, residential treatment, day treatment, partial hospitalization and young adult services that address mental health, trauma and co-occurring substance use concerns.
Wayside’s mission centers on meeting young people and families where they are, building resilience through clinical care, education and lasting support.
Youth Behavioral Health and Acute Stabilization
Wayside’s Framingham campus specializes in acute and residential behavioral health care for adolescents ages 12 to 18, including Community Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) and Intensive Community Based Acute Treatment (ICBAT).
These programs serve youth at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or experiencing serious emotional challenges that outpatient care alone cannot address.
Treatment includes psychiatric assessment, family therapy, group treatment, crisis stabilization, peer support groups and skill-building activities within a structured therapeutic milieu.
Daily psychiatry, wellness programming and discharge planning help youth stabilize and transition back to home, school, and community life.
Young Adult and Co-Occurring Support
Through Tempo Young Adult Services, Wayside supports individuals ages 17 to 25 facing mental health concerns, substance use, risky behavior, homelessness and the challenges of aging out of foster care.
The campus also offers Wayside Academy, a therapeutic classroom with core academics and pre-vocational training plus services for survivors of trauma in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Insurance Coverage
Medicaid

Private insurance
Paying for rehab in Massachusetts can be done in multiple ways, including using private insurance. Because plans vary, be sure to contact the insurer to find out what centers are in-network with your coverage and to find out what out-of-pocket costs you might be responsible for.
Self-pay options
In Massachusetts, you can use self-pay, also known as private pay, to cover the costs of rehab. Payment structure may vary depending on the level of care, but you can use a medical loan, write a check, or send money electronically.
Financial aid
One way to pay for rehab in Massachusetts is to use financial aid programs if you qualify. Financial aid options help you manage the cost of treatment by allowing you to use a grant or scholarship. Aid may be available through the center or through community groups in your area.
