Westminster Recovery Center is a state licensed outpatient substance use treatment center that serves people across Maryland.

The program treats substance use disorders and mental health concerns for people ages 13 and up, as well as through older adulthood.

With both in person and statewide virtual options, the center offers flexible treatment designed to fit around your school, family and legal obligations while helping you build a long lasting recovery.

Intensive Outpatient Programs

The center’s core specialty is outpatient substance use care including intensive outpatient programs.

IOP offers structured care six days a week with three evening options and weekly therapy. This is followed by step down care over approximately three months.

Treatment focuses on identifying triggers, managing cravings and stress and developing coping skills with accountability and sustainable recovery planning.

You can also benefit from an 18 week specialized relapse prevention aftercare component and peer recovery specialists who can assist with court support and GED prep as well as resumes and housing applications.

Dedicated Legal System Support

The center provides DWI/DUI services for those completing court or probation, attorney or MVA requirements and includes a six week education program and a six month outpatient program.

Staff coordinate with probation officers and attorneys, MVA and court systems to help clients meet their obligations.

Insurance Options

Westminster Recovery Center offers in person care at its office at 77 East Main Street in Westminster with rear lot parking as well as statewide virtual therapy through Crossroads Connect.

The facility is in network with major insurers including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and Maryland Medicaid and may help uninsured clients apply for a Maryland State grant or affordable private pay options.
