Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic at Joint Base Andrews provides military focused substance abuse treatment for active duty service members, retirees and eligible adult family members in Maryland. The clinic offers structured outpatient and intensive outpatient programs through its ADAPT Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment initiative and intensive addiction services.

Military Substance Abuse Treatment Through ADAPT

The ADAPT program delivers Air Force substance use services including screening, individual therapy, group counseling and prevention education. As an active duty service member, you can access walk in services weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with retirees and family members seen on a space available basis.

Intensive Outpatient Addiction Services

For those requiring more structured support, intensive addiction services offers level 2 outpatient care with group counseling sessions, education classes and individual therapy. This intensive outpatient addiction program is available if you are active duty, a retiree or an adult family members who meets clinical criteria. Sessions are held Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings and referral coordination to inpatient or residential treatment when indicated.

Services are located on the second floor of Building 1060 on Joint Base Andrews, accessible to those with government issued photo identification for base entry. Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic operates within the TRICARE military health system.
