Adanta was founded in 1967 and offers mental health and addiction treatment services. They also offer comprehensive community support services from multiple locations across several Kentucky counties, including the outpatient clinic in Greensburg. The Greensburg clinic accepts private health insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, military insurance (TRICARE) and funds from several different state and federal agencies.

Eligible clients may receive medication assisted treatment (MAT) at this location. The facility is conveniently located near Green River Lake State Park, which has hiking and walking trails and is a great place to relax during recovery.

Pretreatment Screening Services in Greensburg, Kentucky

The clinic offers assessment and pretreatment services, such as comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments, including drug and alcohol testing. They screen for substance use, including tobacco use. You’ll receive a complete medical physical exam and see a professional interventionist if appropriate.

Treatment includes evidence-based therapies, such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma related counseling. Clients will learn mindfulness techniques and develop stress management techniques to prevent relapse.

You’ll participate in individual and group therapy, as well as couples or family therapy if appropriate. They offer telehealth therapy for convenience.

Accessible Treatment and Supportive Services

The staff makes treatment accessible to all. They offer services for the hard of hearing and deaf, as well as interpreters for clients with limited English language proficiency. Clients are also free to bring a friend or family member to translate.

They have experience treating clients with trauma, those with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders and individuals with serious mental illness. They treat children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance.

Additionally, they help clients with traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s or dementia. Supportive services include housing services and assistance in obtaining social services. You’ll engage with a mentor and have peer support, employment counseling and training.

Dual Diagnosis
