About Daymark Recovery Services Forsyth Center

Daymark Recovery Services Forsyth Center is a non profit behavioral healthcare provider offering mental health and substance use treatment in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The center serves adults and youth through outpatient therapy, psychiatry, substance abuse intensive outpatient (SAIOP) and medication assisted treatment (MAT) with Suboxone.

Daymark provides accessible, community based care with walk in assessments and a 24/7 Behavioral Health Urgent Care unit to meet people where they are, when they need support most.

Substance Abuse Treatment and Medication Assisted Recovery

Daymark’s Forsyth Center specializes in adult substance use treatment, offering both substance abuse intensive outpatient programming and medication assisted treatment with Suboxone at the same location. This integrated approach supports adults working toward recovery with structured outpatient care and evidence based medication support.

SAIOP combines group therapy, skill building and relapse prevention while allowing clients to maintain work, school and family commitments. MAT pairs Suboxone with counseling to reduce cravings, manage withdrawal and address the underlying factors that drive addiction, creating a foundation for sustainable recovery.

24/7 Behavioral Health Urgent Care and Walk In Access

The Forsyth Center operates a Behavioral Health Urgent Care unit around the clock for adults and youth experiencing urgent mental health or substance use crises. Walk in Advanced Access assessments are available during business hours on a first come, first served basis, reducing barriers to starting care.

If you’re ready to overcome substance use disorder, a drug rehab in North Carolina can give you the tools you need. The rehab program may use multiple approaches, including nutrition, psychology, holistic methods, and support groups. These tools help you build a substance-free lifestyle and move into long-term recovery.

Levels of Care

  • 1

    Inpatient Rehab

If you’re starting out on your recovery journey, inpatient treatment can give you the focused, supportive environment you need to build a solid foundation. Inpatient care doesn’t just involve therapy, you also enjoy activities and outings, and many programs have holistic treatment like yoga, mindfulness, and more.

Therapies

  • Group Therapy

If you struggle with addiction in North Carolina, it’s common to feel like no one understands you. Group therapy can help you find common perspectives and support. In rehab, group therapy is only one of the elements of treatment, along with activities, peer support, individual counseling, relapse prevention, and more. Together, all these methods support you in establishing long-term recovery.

  • Individual Therapy

In North Carolina, individual therapy allows you to work one-on-one with a professional to address your past experiences and substance use triggers. This support and accountability help you establish recovery. Substance use treatment includes detox, inpatient treatment, and outpatient care, and individual therapy may be a part of each of these stages. The goal is to help clients address the roots of addiction, develop motivation to change, and create new habits for a substance-free life.
