About Solstice East

Solstice East is a residential treatment center in Weaverville, North Carolina, serving adolescent girls ages 14 to 17.

The program supports teens working through trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-harm, eating disorders and substance-related challenges through a blend of clinical, holistic and academic care.

Set on a 25-acre campus in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Solstice East takes a relationship-based approach designed to help young women rebuild confidence, connectio, and stability.

Residential Trauma and Mental Health Treatment for Teen Girls

Solstice East offers residential treatment tailored specifically to adolescent girls navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges.

The program integrates individual, group and family therapy, with medical support within a structured therapeutic community.

Sessions focus on uncovering the root causes of trauma and co-occurring concerns while building healthy coping skills, emotional regulation and stronger relationships.

An accredited on-site academic program allows students to continue their education while engaged in treatment.

Equine Therapy in the Blue Ridge Mountains

A signature element of Solstice East is its on-site equine therapy program, where students participate in grooming, feeding, horse care and horsemanship.

Working with horses helps teens build trust, accountability and self-awareness in a hands-on, experiential setting.
