RHA Behavioral Health Services C3356 Comprehensive Care Center is a CARF accredited, integrated behavioral health provider.

The center offers outpatient and intensive outpatient care and crisis stabilization, detox and medication management for adults, adolescents and people with co-occurring developmental disabilities.

Integrated Substance Use Treatment

RHA specializes in integrated treatment for substance use and co-occurring serious mental illness or emotional disturbance.

Services include comprehensive assessments and substance use screening, regular and intensive outpatient care, and residential detox for both adults and children or adolescents.

Treatment blends counseling with evidence based approaches such as motivational interviewing, contingency management and relapse prevention, anger management and trauma related counseling.

Medication management pairs prescribed medications with therapeutic and psychiatric care, and telehealth options extend access across the region.

Peer Recovery Support

The Neil Dobbins Facility Based Crisis Center provides 24 hour crisis stabilization for up to seven days, offering a safe environment with ongoing assessments, therapy, peer support and medication assisted treatment.

The onsite Peer Living Room adds a no appointment, home like space supported by certified peer support specialists, while a mobile crisis team responds throughout Buncombe and surrounding counties.

RHA is located at 356 Biltmore Avenue in Asheville, with in person, telehealth and community based mobile services available across western North Carolina.

The center accepts Medicare and Medicaid, military insurance including TRICARE, private and state financed insurance, government funding and self payment with payment assistance available.
