The faith-based program is based on a 12 Step model of recovery and is provided at no cost to residents. Clients reside on campus for 16 weeks but will receive extended support for as long as it’s needed.
A Complete Continuum of Care Across the Carolinas
Clients come to Brunswick Recovery Center from across the Carolinas, but many are Brunswick County natives.
Brunswick also partners with detox, residential, and outpatient care providers across the region for clients who prefer to pursue their recovery outside of their own community. Providing access to care away from home is a way to offer enhanced support for those who wish to protect their privacy or fear being triggered by familiar environments.
Success in Sobriety
Brunswick prides itself on its innovative definition of a “successful” recovery for its clients. In addition to helping clients gain and maintain their sobriety, clients are also supported in achieving gainful employment and stable housing.
To this end, the facility partners with local community colleges and employers to provide job training and employment opportunities. They help clients find stable and affordable housing and they ensure graduates are equipped with a substantial network of peer support, social service providers and healthcare teams.
