About New Beginnings Inc.

The family program at New Beginnings Ministry meets every other Saturday for one hour, after visitation. The ministry is a Christian residential treatment center in Martin, Georgia.

Admission is for women who are recovering from life destructive behaviors.

Who lives in the dormitories?

Women 18 and older live in the dormitories at New Beginnings in Martin. The stay is 12 months at minimum.

A separate dorm takes adolescents from 12 to 17, and another houses women with their children.

A child on campus doesn’t have to live somewhere else while the mom is in treatment. The dormitory for women and their children is fully staffed, and there are ten graduate and transitional homes.

What groups meet on campus?

Group work at New Beginnings includes anger management, parenting classes and Celebrate Recovery, which draws biblical comparisons as a 12-step program.

Each woman gets individual therapy sessions, and those sessions include spiritual counseling.

Can someone apply while incarcerated?

Applicants who are incarcerated can apply to New Beginnings, and a contact person arranges the phone interview. A virtual tour of the campus lets you see it from wherever you are.

What you’ll pay each month is set on a sliding scale.

During individual therapy in Georgia, clients have a confidential environment to work through their struggles with a professional. Individual therapy is only one element of rehab treatment, along with activities, peer support, group counseling, relapse prevention, and more. Together, all these methods support you in establishing long-term recovery.
