A Structured Long Term Program
I do like that the program will provide you with an environment that is both supportive and structured. The treatment program spans 9 to 12 months.
The program is divided into three phases. The first 30 days are the orientation phase. You’ll participate in 33 weekly hours of intensive counseling, group training and peer support.
The next 60 to 120 days will still incorporate both group and individual counseling. Family counseling will also be available. During this portion of your treatment phase, you’ll attend therapy for about 20 hours per week.
Once you reach 120+ days, you will have 20 hours of weekly structured activities. You’ll learn life skills and relapse prevention strategies.
Family and Community Reintegration
Throughout the phases of your treatment, you’ll engage in evidence based practices such as the Matrix Model, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and 12 step facilitation. You will also be able to receive trauma related counseling and anger management.
They also offer the “Reconnecting Families” program. It is funded by a grant from the Amerigroup Foundation. This program provides family education, therapy and engagement activities to strengthen familial relationships and support the individual’s recovery journey.
