About Bridges of Hope Alamo

Bridges of Hope provides substance use recovery for women in Alamo, Georgia. The campus includes a 44-bed facility on 10 acres where guests can focus on recovery without distractions.

Structure for Recovery

Guests don’t have staff available to clean and prepare for them. Part of the program includes the residents having core responsibilities, like gardening, repairing the facility, cleaning, and housekeeping duties. You may have a vegetable garden, woodworking, and other activities to help with teamwork and provide a sense of belonging.

Guests stay in dorm-like settings where they share time with others in recovery. They learn discipline, eat meals as a group, and attend meetings together.

Accountability Opportunities

Guests start their days with morning devotionals. They have AA Big Book studies, which refer to accepting accountability for their recovery and behavior. This service includes attending off-site Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings.

The team includes an exit interview approximately 45 days before leaving treatment to help ensure they have the tools necessary for ongoing sobriety. The staff will assist guests with finding halfway housing, academic enrollment, and more support systems.
